January Favourites!!!

Hi Everyone! Can you believe its the end of January already? I certainly can't. I apologise for not uploading a post in the last few days, university and essay writing calls, I'm afraid. Anyway, it's monthly favourites time and I'm just going to post a bunch of things I've been loving this month, they are pretty random but here they are...
My first favourite of January has been the Colab Dry Shampoo in the New York fruity scent. This stuff is amazing! It has an invisible formula so it doesn't leave any of that residue in your hair like i find the Batiste one does. I've used this to add texture to my hair and when i've had a few bad hair days and its definitely worth the purchase.
The DVD favourite for this month is Lee Evans: Monsters. This is actually Lee's final tour as he is retiring, but its just as funny and hilarious as all the other ones he's done, it's definitely one of my favourites, and its worth a watch for the constant giggles. I swear my mum and i have watched this that often we know the majority of the jokes word for word.
My music favourite for the month has been my favourite band 5 Seconds of Summer's live album LIVESOS. i think its such a good album and the chance to listen to a show whenever you want. I have been a fan of 5SOS for ages, i think they are super talented, and i love all the boys but i'm not gonna lie, i do have a little (okay..HUGE) crush on Michael. (I can't help it he's gorgeous)
The fragrance favourite for this month has been Katy Perry's Killer Queen. Its such an amazing scent, and i've been wearing it a lot over the last few weeks.
Make up wise, the favourite has been the Urban Decay Naked on the Run palette. Its an amazing buy as you get pretty much everything to do a makeup look with the exception of a foundation and concealer. I'll be taking it with me to my dad's next weekend. The only thing i'm not a big fan of is the bronzer as its a little too dark for me, but overall an amazing product.
I am the biggest bookworm. Anyone that knows me knows that if i have the chance my head will be stuck in the latest book. I've been reading the Mortal Instruments for a while, so i had to include the Sixth and final book of the series in my favourites. I won't spoil it as my mum is currently reading the series, and she also reads this blog so i don't want to spoil it for her. Its an awesome series, I have all of Cassandra Clare's books, and I'm just about to start The Infernal Device 2: Clockwork Prince.
Food favourite of the month has to be these Cadbury Salted Caramel fingers. They are Amazing!!! They are possibly the best version of the chocolate fingers i've tried. I've been constantly snacking on them (and refusing to share with my mum as they are so good). definitely worth trying.
My final pick is this 5SOS sweatshirt. You all know i love 5SOS , and to be honest, this sweatshirt is so comfy it actually replaces my Gryffindor Quidditch hoodie. I wear it a lot, as its something easy to throw on with skinny jeans or leggings, and its perfect to wear either at uni or at home.

Thats all from me for this month. What have you been enjoying this month? let me know via twitter or in the comments below. I'll leave my social links for you to follow and i'll be back on Monday with another post.

Colab Dry Shampoo Review!!!

Colab!!!
Hi Everyone, I'm back with a review! I have been a fan of dry shampoo's for a long time, and until November last year i had been using the Batiste ones, and i wasn't the biggest fan of the fact it left white residue in my hair sometimes. However, in November i discovered a new Dry Shampoo with an invisible formula.
Colab was created by blogger and youtuber Ruth Crilly of A Model Recommends. It has an invisible formula, so it doesn't leave any residue after using it. There are five different scents all named after cities of the world. I have New York, Tokyo and Rio, but there are also London and Paris as well. They smell amazing!!! I think the retail price of them is good as well. £1.99 for a 50ml bottle and £3.49 for a 200ml bottle. There is also new additions to the range which create extra volume and those are retailed at £4.49 i think, I am yet to try them but hope they are as good as the originals.

I know this post is only short, which i apologise for, I'm in the process of essay writing and critical analysis, which i am highly disliking therefore i took a break to write this post. I will leave my social media links below if any of you want to check those out and i shall be back on Thursday with a Review on the urban decay Naked on the Run palette.
Write soon

University Post 4: First assignment Submission

Hey Everyone!! I'm back with another post in my university series :) Nowadays in university, it's sort of like a monthly countdown till we finish at the end of May and our graduation in July. I'll be happy once i have finished...anyway, this month's post is on my first assignment submission. On Tuesday 20th January 2015 I officially submitted my first assignment of second year. If I'm honest; I'm glad i have my Tour Operations essay doe and completed, I went slightly over the word limit but it's hard to write lots of detail in a maximum word count. I'm just dreading carrying on with the cruise essay that's due in about three weeks :/. The worst things for me, in general, when it comes to essay writing is two things: Harvard referencing and critical analysis. Whoever came up with the idea of those things, i really dislike you right now. Luckily i didn't need critical analysis in the Tour Ops essay but I do need it in Cruise. My problem is, that i struggle to find the right thing to analyse and back up my argument, as well as having the concentration and motivation span of a duck billed platypus. *Sigh*
This year we are lucky as we only have to do two essays. The other assignments include three case studies, our mini dissertation/research projects, an exam, and an appraisals recording. Actually, looking at that sentence I've just written were actually not that lucky. Since we are only in two days a week and finish in may we have around 10-14 weeks to do everything (i think that includes half term as well though)
...I'll get through it eventually.

That's all from me for this month's university post, I'll have a review up tomorrow before i start celebrating my Mum's birthday!!!! *Cheers* HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!!!
I'll leave my social media links for you to check all those out and i'll be back tomorrow!!!

Avon Haul!!!

Hi Everyone!!! This is part two of my double update and....it's an Avon Haul!!!! I have been a fan of Avon for the longest time, I've loved pretty much everything I've tried from the brand. It's definitely worth checking their shop out at http://avonshop.co.uk/ . I apologise for my background on these pictures, i had to use the living room table (oops)
Avon Haul!!!

Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick - Red Velvet - £4.00
The first thing that i picked out was this gorgeous lipstick. It's the Ultra Colour Absolute lipstick in the shade Red Velvet. Its a beautiful shade of red, it glides on smoothly, the colour payoff is gorgeous and i love the pink packaging.

Ultra Colour Matte Lipstick - Matte Peach - £7.50
The seond lip product i picked out was the Ultra Colour Matte lipstick in the shade Matte Peach. I've been wanting a matte peach lippy for ages and when i found this one i literally fell in love. the packaging is simple but pretty, the colour is gorgeous and the payoff is amazing. i'd definitely recommend this

True Colour EyeShadow Duo - Warm Cashmere - £3.50
The third item i picked up was this eye shadow duo in the shade Warm Cashmere. The colours are perfect if you want a simple, understated eye makeup look, and the colour payoff is fantastic.

Gel Finish Nail Enamel - Wine and Dine Me - £3.50
I currently can't paint my nails as i have acrylic nails at the moment, but as soon as i can paint them i will in this shade. I'm a huge fan of Avon's gel nail enamels as they last for over a week and the colours are stunning. This one caught my eye because of it's lovely burgundy colour and its name which i found quite funny.

Spectralash Mascara - Black - £5.00
The final makeup product i bought was this mascara. I haven't tried it out yet as I've been using my Urban Decay perversion mascara which i love. This caught my eye for the fact that you can change up the volume of the mascara, i haven't used a mascara like this before, but i'm sure Rimmel did a mascara like this and i'm not sue what it's called. (I will find out) . I'm interested to see how things go with this and i shall do a review if you would like me to.

body care - 2 shower gels, 2 bubble baths and a hand wash - 5 for £5
The final few products I picked out were in an offer in one of the previous brochures for 2015. It was a 5 for £5 pounds offer on body care so i picked out two bubble baths in the scents strawberry sorbet and dark orchid and raspberry, two shower gels in the scents Lagoon and garden of Eden and a hand wash in the scent Lagoon. I haven't used any of these yet but they all smell gorgeous.

Thats all from me for now, i'll be back in the next few days with part four of my university series. I'll leave my social links below for you to follow me.

Book Haul!!!!

New Books!!!
Hi Everyone, I have a double update for you today, and they are both hauls!!! Over the past few weeks i have been collecting books that i have been wanting to read for a while. The Majority of them are by one of my favourite authors, Cassandra Clare - writer of the mortal instruments books. The others are two books i've been wanting for ages and the other two are style and beauty books by Lauren Conrad - which i wanted because she is one of my style and role models.
The Infernal Devices - Cassandra Clare

The first three books are a trilogy by Cassandra Clare. these are the prequel to The Mortal Instruments Series that she wrote. I'm a huge fan of The Mortal Instruments and i definitely can't wait to get started reading these.
The Bane Chronicles - Cassandra Clare
If there is a single character i love from Cassandra Clare's books, it is most definitely Magnus Bane. He is the Chief high Warlock of Brooklyn and hes fabulous. This book has several short stories of some of Magnus's adventures throughout his 300 years of living. Thanks Cassie for creating such a fabulous character!!!!
The ShadowHunter's Codex - Cassandra Clare
The final book by Cassie Clare is The ShadowHunter's Codex. This is featured in the books and every ShadowHunter has one. Clare has written this as Heroine Clary Fray's copy, with notes in the margins from her and fellow characters Jace Wayland and Simon Lewis. I have started reading this book and i honestly think its awesome (and the margin notes are hilarious)

The Maze Runner - James Dashner
I first heard about this as a fan of The Hunger Games books and because of the Maze Runner movie. I haven't seen the movie but from what my friends have said its was brilliant. i am determined to read the book before i watch the movie so i know what to expect.

House of Night: Hunted - P.C and Kristen Cast
This book i had been wanting/needing for about three months and i hadn't had the chance to get it until now. With this series i was in a bit of a predicament before i got this book. My predicament was that i had the first four books of the series, missing book five and owned six and seven. I couldn't continue reading until i had got this book. Now i'm pretty excited to complete this epic series of twists, turns and vampyres. Most definitely worth a read for all you fantasy novel lovers.

Lauren Conrad - Beauty
The penultimate book in this haul is by one of my style and beauty Icons, Lauren Conrad. I love how she always looks effortless and has a classic makeup look that i have found easy to recreate. The beauty book has tips and tricks, and Lauren's advice on skincare, haircare and makeup - definitely worth a read.

Lauren Conrad - Style
The final book in this haul is also by Lauren Conrad. I've been a fan of her style since she was on the Hills. It's effortless, classy and she has a look for every occasion. This book has plenty of tips and tricks about all things fashion and she also gives you outfit ideas for any occasion.

Thats all from me for now, i'll be back with another haul once i've uploaded this post, i'll leave my social media links below if you want to check those out and follow me. What are your favourite books? Let meknow in the comments or by twitter.
