New Years Resolutions!!!!

Hey Guys!!!
Can you believe it? It is almost the end of 2015!!! Merlin's Beard...Wow.
This year I've had plenty of ups and downs, but to be honest, I think next year will be better...I'm turning 21 next year!!!!!!
On to actual New Years Resolutions, I'm quite happy to admit that I am terrible with them. However, this year, I gave it some thought and decided to write down 5 things I wanted to do next year and actually stick with it. Here goes....

1) Be more consistent with my blog and social media - This had to be one of my main Resolutions, as I'll admit, I've been slacking quite a bit on social media and with my blog. Next year, I am to be way more consistent with blog posts, and I'll be more active on social media.
2) Redesign my blog - My second resolution has to be to completely redesign my blog. To be honest, I'm not liking the current layout and theme of my blog. I think in the new year, I want to go down the minimalist, modern route and have a monochrome theme...I'll have a think about it.
3 and 4)Eat Healthier and Lose weight -  I have this resolution pretty much every year, and every year, I ALWAYS FREAKIN' BREAK IT!!! DARN MY ADDICTION TO CHOCOLATE -.-
This year I am to actually keep going with this resolution and not bail after a month or something. I might document how I do with this one, like I did ith my university series. If you want to see this please let me know in the comments section below.
5) Experiment more with fashion and beauty - Next year, I want to step out of my comfort zone a bit when it comes to fashion and beauty. I am the type of person who pretty much sticks with what I'm comfortable with when it comes to fashion and beauty. Next year I do want to experiment and really find my style in 2016. I'm hoping to experiment with makeup and skincare, try new products and brands and see where it goes.

Thats it for this post. Please be sure to follow me on social media. Thankyou for 1.3k followers on twitter by the way!!!!
What are your New Years Resolutions?
Let me know in the comments below or on twitter.

Bye for now,

My Christmas Weekend!!!

Well Hello Lovely People!!!
I hope you all had an amazing christmas! I certainly did!
This post has been planned for a while, but I've had to delay uploading it because of starting my work placement on Monday.
This post will be documenting my christmas weekend, from Christmas eve until the 27th, as I had a very fun christmas and I wanted to share it with you.

Christmas Eve - Mum and I had a chilled out evening, with a buffet for two and a few episodes of Pretty Little Liars. We are still on season 5, and watched 5x13 and 5x14. We are really enjoying it, and cannot wait to finish the season. We also listened to some christmas songs whilst wrapping up presents for family.

Christmas Day - Mum and I woke up around 8am, made a cup of tea, and began opening presents. We also discovered that we are very in sync with each other, in terms of what we bought each other for christmas. We both got each other DVDs, clothes, jewellery, candles and chocolate etc. The rest of the day was spent over at my Aunt and Uncle's house with my two cousins. My aunt had done an amazing dinner. Starters were Pate for me and Prawn cocktail for everyone else. Then my other Aunt and Uncle popped round for a little bit before our main meal, with our cousin/nephew. It was lovely to see them. After they left, we had a lovely roast turkey dinner, then had a game of Cranium. Personally, Cranium is my favourite game to play at christmas because everyone has a laugh. My cousin and I won which I was very pleased about. After cranium, it was time for dessert. I had a classic Mince Pie, whilst other options were trifle and Chocolate Bomb. Mum and I left around 7, and went home to watch a bit of Joe and Caspar Hit The Road, before going to bed.

Boxing Day - Boxing Day was a really chilled out day for Mum and I, we spent the day at home just chilling and also popped into town and had a look at the sales that were going on. I picked up two things from Superdrug - A Studio London Brow Kit and a Sleek Makeup Party Box, both of which I will do a review on my blog in the new year. I also picked up a copy of Tyler Oakley's book, Binge. I've started reading it and I think its so good and definitely worth a read. For the rest of the day, we just spent watching DVDs, and reading.

Sunday 27th December - This day was one of the most fun family days. Mum, My aunt, uncle, cousins and I took a trip up to Leeds to visit My Aunt, Uncle and Baby Cousin who live up there. Said Baby Cousin is now 9 months old. We spent the time having a buffet that my Aunt and Uncle had prepared, as well as getting lots of cuddles and photos with the little one. We also went on a little walk around the village/countryside where they live. It was honestly a really lovely day. We got home around 7pm and had a chill out evening watching another episode of Pretty Little Liars.

That's it for this post. I can't believe it is the last day of 2015 tomorrow. That being said, I will be uploading TWO posts, My New Years Eve Playlist and My New Years Resolutions.

Christmas Shopping, Works meal, and Top Tracks of the month!!

Hey Guys!!!!
How are you all doing?? Are you all ready for Christmas???
BREAKING NEWS PEOPLE IT IS TWO DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS, I REPEAT IT IS TWO DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!!!! MERLIN!!!!
Yesterday I went Christmas Shopping with my Dad to Manchester, which was really nice as I haven't seen him in a while. I picked out a few things for myself, and for my mum, as well as helping dad pick out something for his Fiancee (is that how you spell it? IDK)
Also last week I had my work's christmas meal and managers leaving do, with all the volunteers at Sue Ryder Care in Northwich. We had such a lovely meal, and there was a lot of laughs. I think I gained abs from laughing so hard.

I also wanted to do a quick top tracks of the month, as I am focusing my blog posts around new year's eve next week. So here are the songs I have been loving this month.
1) Over and Over again - Nathan Sykes - Holy Merlin's beard!!!! This song is absolutely stunning. Nathan has such an incredible voice, and I think its his time as a solo artists to show what he can do. This song just proves how good of a singer he really is.
2) Hands of Time - Rachel Diggs - As you all know, I have become obsessed with Pretty Little Liars, and I was having a look through some of the season soundtracks and came across this song. It's so catchy and dark, but a really good song. If you are a PLL fan, I suggest you take a look at the soundtracks for the different seasons as there are some really good songs.
3) What do you mean? - Justin Bieber - I never thought I would say this again but, I have actually turned back into a fan of the Biebs. He's been bringing out some awesome songs from his latest album, Purpose. This one is my favourite, by far. It's catchy, upbeat and overall a really good song.
4) Confident - Demi Lovato - My final pick is this song by the stunning Demi Lovato. This song is insane!!! Her voice is just incredible. I think the video for this is really cool, and a real feel good song.

That's it from me until next week guys. I hope you all have a lovely, lovely christmas.
What songs have you been loving this month? Have you listened to any of my picks?
Let me know in the comments section below.

Christmas Update!!

Hey Guys!!
So I'm back with another Blog Post. Today's post is my christmas update. This will only be a quick post as I am off to Knutsford to reunite and catch up with one of my best friends.

In regards to christmas, I'll be very honest. I haven't even put the christmas tree and decorations up yet :O My flat looks very un-festive at the moment, but I am putting up the tree and decorations with my mother dearest.
Present wise, Most of my family members are done, we have a few to finish off. I still have to buy some presents for my mum, but I'm doing that on Tuesday, as I'm going to Manchester with Dad.
Christmas Shopping is one of my favourite things ever, I love being able to walk around and see all the festive-ness in the shops and outside. I think my favourite place for christmas Shopping is Manchester, just because it looks so festive and you have the Iconic Manchester Christmas Markets which are pretty awesome.

As for this weekends plans, Today (Saturday) I am taking a trip to my hometown and meeting up with one of my best friends who I haven't seen in about 4 years. The two of us have been friends for around 14-15 years, our mums are good friends as well. I think its lovely to have friends who you can go for ages without seeing each other or speaking to each other, but when you get together, the atmosphere is still the same. You can still have a laugh, banter, and you know that person will always be there if you need a friend.
On Sunday, I am FINALLY putting the christmas tree and decoration up in the flat, as well as dying my hair. Because its the festive season I'm going a black cherry red colour, basically topping up the colour I am at this current moment.

That's it for this quick blog post. I hope you guys have a lovely weekend, I will be back on monday with another blog post. I'm hoping I can post a blog post everyday between now and christmas.

My Plans For Christmas 2015!!!

Hey Lovely People!!!!
Again, I would just like to apologise for the lack of posts that have been on the blog this month, I haven't prioritised my blog as much as I should have. (Thats one of my new years resolutions).

However, the exciting news is that it is exactly ONE week today until christmas!!!! How exciting is that?
With it being a week today until christmas, I decided to share with you my plans for the festive weekend. There will be a post on the 28th documenting the whole weekend but here are my plans for next weekend's festivities.

On Christmas Eve, my mum and I are going to have a little party for two, including a little buffet, wrapping last minute presents for everyone so we don't have a repeat of last year and have a mad wrapping party on christmas morning. We'll play a little bit of music, and then once all the wrapping is done, we'll settle down in our PJ's and watch a couple of episodes of Pretty Little Liars Season 5. (We know we are behind, we are slowly catching up with it :P)

On Christmas Day, Mother Dearest and I will give each other our presents, then have a lovely breakfast, and relax for an hour before getting ready to go to my Aunt's for Christmas Dinner and to see everyone. I can't wait to just spend time with all the Family.

On Boxing Day, Mum and I won't do much. We'll probably just relax a bit and maybe have a walk around town  and check out the sales. Then we will probably either watch PLL, or any other DVDs that we decide to watch.

Finally, on the 27th December, I am going to my mum's friends party. It should be a good night.

That is it for this blog post. Keep an eye out tomorrow for my Christmas update regarding presents and shopping and all that, as well as my top 5 christmas songs.

What are your plans for the festive weekend that's coming up?
Let me know in the comments below, or on Twitter @MissKLxoxo

I really hope you all have a fantastic christmas and New Year, Thank you for sticking with me and the blog, this year. Next year will be Amazing!

Top Tracks of the month: November Edition

Hello Lovely People!!!
A few things before I get started with this post, first, I know we are two days into December and this post should have gone up a few days ago but I  have been ill and volunteering. Second, I know there haven't been as many posts up on the blog in November and that is because I've had an Eye Infection over the last week to two weeks, I will make up for it in December.
Onto this post, I have been loving three songs this month, I have been playing them non stop, so here is what they are...

1) Lucy Hale feat. Rascal Flatts - Let it go - I have been absolutely loving this version of the song Let it Go from the Disney Movie, Frozen. Lucy Hale, best known for playing Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars, has an amazing voice. She teamed up with Rascal Flatts to make a country version of this song for the We Love Disney 2015 album. The album features lots of different artists from Tori Kelly to Ne-yo, Jessie J to Ariana Grande performing Disney Hits. If you are a disney fan, this is a good one for your christmas list, as is Lucy Hale's album, Road Between, which is also pretty amazing.

2) 5 Seconds of Summer - Jet Black Heart -  I always feature a 5sos song in my monthly music posts, and this month's is no different. The boys recently announced that their new single would be Jet Black Heart from their latest album, Sounds Good Feels Good. I am literally in love with this song, it's one of my joint favourites on the album along with Permanent Vacation. Can I just point out, Michael Clifford's voice is just incredible in this song, *Le Fangirls* He sounds like an angel! If you haven't heard this then I suggest that you do ASAP!!!!!

3) Hey Violet - Can't Take Back The Bullet - I fast became a fan of these guys when I heard This is Why. They are an amazing band. This song in particular is so rocky and amazing. Its my favourite song of theirs. The chorus is really catchy too.

That's all for this post guys. Do you like any of the songs I've featured in this months picks? What have you been listening to this month? Let me know either in the comments below or on twitter @MissKLxoxo.

UPDATE!!!!!!!

Hello Lovely People!!!!!
First of all, I want to apologise for the serious lack of posts this month. I have three valid reasons for that. The first is that I have had absolutely no inspiration whatsoever, the second is that I still have no camera, I can take pictures on my ipod, but have difficulty uploading them, and the third is that my work placement and job search that I have to do has literally taken over. I do apologise.

I just wanted to make this post to tell you lovely people who actually read my blog, what I have been up to over the last couple of weeks. To be honest, I haven't done much apart from my job search and Work Placement at Sue Ryder. However, a few days ago something very exciting happened in Northwich Town..yES, Saturday 21st November was the Northwich Christmas Extravaganza. Unfortunately I did miss most of the festivities as I was working but I did get to have a quick look around. There was so much going on from market stalls, to tractor and trailer rides, donkey rides, Amplify performances, Fairground rides, Trampolines, a snow globe and rodeo reindeer. Also there was entertainment going on, on the library steps. I only saw one performance from Tom KirkPatrick, a one man band and he was pretty awesome. As we have not one but two pantomimes going on in Northwich this year, some of the cast members were around nearer the time of  the lighting of the christmas tree. Joining the stars of the pantos, were Darth Vader, Spiderman and Elsa, Anna, and Olaf from Frozen.
I did manage to meet Edwina Currie who is playing the Evil Queen Morgana in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at Northwich Memorial Court, and Christopher Maloney who is playing Captain Hook in Peter Pan at The Grange Theatre. If you do get the chance this year to watch a pantomime, and you are in Northwich, please go check out either or both of these as they are going to be fantastic.

That is all from me for this post, i will have a few more posts coming up this week. Due to the camera issue, any pictures you see on the blog will be from either Pinterest or We Heart It, with credit to the original posters. Please follow me on Social Media. I'll be back soon with another post,

Top Tracks of the Month:October Edition

Hello! Lovely People of the internet!
I am back, I do apologise for not posting in so long, I've had a little bit of blogger's block. :(  That issue has now been overcome and I have 2 new series coming over the next 2 months. Throughout November there will be an Autumn Series (I know i should have done that this month but oh, well), and In December, instead of doing Blogmas, I'll do a christmas series, posting once or twice a week.

Onto this post though, as you know, if you have been  reading my blog for a while, I normally do a top tracks of the month, where I talk a little bit about my favourite three songs of the month. This month's edition, however, will be slightly different. I have a mini album review and four songs that I wanted to talk about. Fasten your seatbelts, guys..here we go....
I love music!!!

Mini Album Review : 5 Seconds of Summer: Sounds Good Feels Good
I love 5sos, I really do. Their songs are amazing, their voices are incredible, they have talent! This album is insanely incredible. What I love in particular about this album is that they sing about issues that do affect everyday life such as anxiety, and divorce. Their songs are powerful and meaningful. They are using their voices to speak out about these issues, and that's an amazing thing. I have too many favourite songs from this album, Permanent Vacation, Hey Everybody, Jet Black Heart. I actually can't pick an overall favourite. I also love this movement that the boys have created called The New Broken Scene. It's basically a movement for their fans, a place where everyone can fit in.
This album is definitely worth listening to. Even if you are not a fan of these boys,..you will be after listening to this.

Four Songs I have been loving this month!
1) Rotten to the Core - Disney's Descendants - I love disney movies, and this month I definitely found a new favourite. Descendants is about the kids of disney characters, villains and heroes. It's a light hearted movie, with some awesome songs. This one and another one are my favourites. It's got a hip-hop esque vibe to it, and the dance routine in the video is pretty insane. Disney and Non Disney fans will love this.
2) If Only - Disney's Descendants - Again, this is from Descendants, Dove Cameron's voice is amazing. She is so talented. This song is the only balled type song on the soundtrack. It's absolutely beautiful, and one of my all time favourite tracks this month.
3) Hey Violet - Smash Into You - I discovered Hey Violet when I saw them open for 5sos on their Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour. They are amazing. I have fast become a fan of theirs. I love this song, its pretty awesome and worth a listen if you are into punk-pop type music.
4) Little Mix - Move - Last, but certainly not least, is a song from one of my favourite groups, Little Mix. This song came out a while ago, but will always be one of my favourites. Its the type of song you just want to get up and dance to. This is definitely in my top three favourite songs by little mix.

That's it for this month's edition of top tracks. I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know in the comments below what you thought of 5 seconds of summer's album if you've listened to it, if you've seen Disney's Descendants, and what your top tracks are this month.
Be sure to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Bloglovin, I'll be back soon with another post.

Things I love about Autumn!!!

Hello Lovely people of the big wide world known as the Internet!!!!
to all those who follow or have seen my blog before welcome back, and to anyone new who comes across this blog Welcome!!!!
Autumn is finally here, and I will be honest, it is one of My favourite seasons, so I thought I would compile a small list as to love about Autumn (or fall if you are from the USA).
Before I begin, I'm just going to point out that the pictures you see in the blog post are NOT my personal photos, I have had to use Google Images to find photos that are relevant as my camera is broken, so credit to the people who have took the images I am using on my blog today...lets get started....

 1) Autumn Leaves - the first thing I absolutely adore about autumn is the colours of the leaves. Warms reds, yellows, browns and the occasional green. It is the first sign that autumn is here, and its fun when you are walking through a park, and you see the leaves on the trees and on the floor. I find it quite cool.
Autumn Leaves
 2)  Autumn Sunsets - I find Autumn Sunsets absolutely beautiful, I love the colours and from where I live, there are some amazing photo opportunities. There's a church near where I live and the sunset with the church silhouette is stunning

3) Movie/T.v Show Nights - One thing I do on a regular occasion is have a night with my mum where we'll either binge watch Pretty Little Liars (We're just finishing season 2, we are so behind :( ) or we'll watch a couple of movies. I've just ordered the Disney Descendants movie as its supposed to be really good. We tend to have junk food, candles burning and lots of giggles and laughs.  (Big Big shoutout to my Mum, YOUR THE BEST...LOVE YOUUUUU!!!!!)

4) Autumn Fashion - I like to stay pretty comfy in autumn winter so i tend to stick with jumpers, flannel shirts and hoodies or my leather jacket with leggings or skinny jeans and either my converse, UGGs or my black biker boots.

That is it for this post, I will be back soon with another post, be sure to follow me on social media to keep up with what I'm up to. I'm on twitter, Instagram, we heart it, bloglovin and tumblr.

Bye for now,

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!

HEY GUYS!!!!!!
I am officially BACK from my blogging haitus..which I do apologise for by the way...I've really wanted to be more consistent with my blog posts and eventually..if you guys wanted me to...move on to making youtube videos to coinside with my blog...plus the occasional singing video...haha...

Well, I guess I'd better give you an update of the last couple of weeksm as well as give you guys a reason as to why I haven't been blogging....
The reasons why I haven't been blogging are because I had ran out of ideas for posts, I was on a work placement which meant I couldn't really upload anything and I have injured myself....

Long story short with my injury...I have Jarred my feet. Bascially this time last week I was in Manchester on an observation day/second interview kind of thing...including travelling time i was out for around 15 hours...I'm not entirely sure how I've jarred my feet..I'm thinking I jumped off the train funny because it had a RIDICULOUSLY high step from the train onto the platform...plus the amount of running I had to do to keep up with my mentor for the day AKA Speedy Flipping Gonzales -.- I don't know...what I do know is that my feet still hurt...I'll live haha

I'm not going to say what happened with that job or mention who the company was for certain reasons...

Moving on....I do have a few rather exciting blog posts coming up in the next few weeks, but I would love to hear what you guys want to see on my blog? If you do have a request please do not hesitate to comment on this blog post or my twitter @MissKLxoxo (I changed my twitter handle because I got bored of my other one, and my new one is a little bit more relevent to my blog)

One other announcement before I wrap up this post, is that on Sunday 20th of September, My blog turns 1!!!! I can't believe how quick that's flown by!! I will be uploading a post on Saturday talking about it and I'll be tweeting about it on Sunday.

That's it for now, I will be back soon with another post. I'd really love to talk to you guys so tweet me or comment below.

Bye for now,

My 20th Birthday!!! :D

Hey Lovely People Out there!!!!!
So yesterday was the day I celebrated living on this planet for twenty years...I know, I don't look it but officially I am 20 years old. Someone said to me they thought I looked like a 13 year old...I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or an insult.

Anyway I thought I would tell you all what I did yesterday to celebrate. I honestly didn't do much in the morning, I slept in as I'd had most of my presents last weekend, and went to the library for an hour or so and had a walk round town. In the Afternoon, My Dad picked me up and we spent a couple of hours in Manchester, had some lunch, and did quite a bit of shopping for birthday presents. I got to pick out some things that I had been wanting for a while, such as season 1 of Pretty Little Liars. I've seen the odd episode, and I really want to get into it, so mum and I are gonna binge watch it and pick up the other seasons as we go. As mum was working during the day, we spent the evening in our local Wetherspoons, having a couple of cocktails and some yummy food. I am not nursing a small hangover....but all is well.

If you want me to do a post featuring some of the things I got for my birthday then please let me know in the comments below or on twitter. I also just want to say a huge thankyou for all the birthday messages I received from my friends and family on Social Media.

I'll be back soon with another post.

15 ways to smile!!

Hi, to all of you lovely readers of my blog!
Today's post is a little bit different. I've decided to put together a little list of 15 different ways to put a smile on your face every single day. Lets get started....
  1. Watch your favourite TV Show or Movie
  2. Bake something! It can be anything from cupcakes to a big cake for all to share.
  3. Have a chat with a good friend or reconnect with an old one. ~ I did this yesterday and I'm happy I did :) Shoutout to Jazzy!
  4. Learn a new skill! Something you have never done before but wanted to try, such as a new sport, a new style of dance, or even photography.
  5. Help Somebody Out! Doing this always boosts our happiness levels and smiliness!! :D
  6. Turn a negative thought into a positive one! Whenever you feel down, try and turn that negative feeling into a positive one!
  7. Believe in yourself!
  8. Create a playlist of all your favourite songs and dance like no-one is watching :)
  9. Watch your favourite vloggers or read your favourite blogs. Mine are Zoella, Tanya Burr, Sprinkle of Glitter, Tyler Oakley, Bethany Mota, Pixiwoo, ThatcherJoe, Casper Lee, Jim Chapman, and PointlessBlog
  10. Tell someone you love them! This could be a family member, friend, or even the person your in a relationship with.
  11. Make a new friend! This can be someone who is the complete opposite to you, or you have the same things in common.
  12. Doodle or Draw! When I do this, I tend to sketch out potential jewellery designs...
  13. Avoid Negative People
  14. Read a book that you love! The books that I'd recommend are the Harry Potter Books and the Selection Series by Kiera Cass.
  15. Finally, write down ten positive feelings, thoughts or quotes, onto post-it notes, and stick them in random places where you can always see them

That's it for today. I'll be back on August 12th with another blog post. Tomorrow is my 20th Birthday so I'll be blogging about that on Wednesday. Be sure to follow me on my social media.

Write soon,

Hello August!!!

My,My, My!! It's been a while since I last wrote, but I am back and there WILL be plenty of blog posts throughout this month.
First things first though, August, you have got to sort your weather priorities out Matey! You're a summer month for Merlin's sake not flippin Winter! We need sunshine, not rain!!!
On another note, August is a month of birthdays for my family. My Dad's birthday was a couple fo days ago, so happy birthday to him (the old git) Love Ya Dad! Next is my gorgeous cousin Abbi's 18th, then mine on August 11th, then my cousin Jack's 20th near the end of the month.
The thing with Jack and I though, is that we were born in the same year, I'm exactly two weeks old, yet he's flipping taller than me. (Well, it's easy for anyone to be taller than me as I'm only 5'2)

Please keep a look out on the blog, as well as my twitter and instagram for when the new posts are up. I do want to do a Q+A post this month so please send any questions with the #AskKatie on twitter. Be sure to follow my social media. I'll be back soon.

Top Tracks of the Month - July Edition!

Hey Lovely People! First off, I just want to send out a quick apology for the absence of posts this month, I seem to be apologizing a lot recently. I've had to take a break due to job hunting and other reasons. A little note on my university series, a lot of you seemed to enjoy that, but that has now finished. This post is exactly the same as my last post. I want to do this every month, in addition to a favourites post. Let's get on with my top tracks this month...

First up is the brand new single from my favourite band of all time, 5 seconds of Summer. She's Kinda Hot is so catchy, and relatable to anyone. I love the beat and guitar as well as it's lyrics. I caught my mum dancing and singing this yesterday with a full blown air guitar performance (I should have filmed it hehe), so it's a hit with her to. I can't wait to hear what else they have planned for the new album.

Second is Black Magic by the lovely ladies of Little Mix. This is such an awesome, upbeat song. It's one of those songs that can instantly boost your mood and make you want to dance. Good on you girls for such an epic song!

My third and final pick is a ballad that was released last year. My pick is the song Brave Souls by Cozi Zhuellsdorff for the Dolphin Tale 2 Soundtrack. It's a beautiful song and all of her other songs are pretty cool as well.

That's all from me! I will be back soon! Be sure to let me know your top tracks of the month either in the comments below, or on twitter or instagram.

Write soon,

Katie xoxo

Mini Update and Top Tracks of the month!

Hey to all of you lovely readers out there! First things first...WHITE RABBITS!!! Yes, it is the first of July, Crikey, how fast has this year gone? I apologise for the lack of posts, I have been a little on the busy side, but today's post is going to be a quick update and a top tracks of the month, kind of post. Also to anyone who saw my Detoxifying Friendships post, and is wondering where its disappeared to, I've taken it down for personal reasons.

Now...UPDATE TIME!!!!! Well, these last month has been a little bit on the hectic side. I finished my foundation degree on the fifth of June, and approximately two weeks later, I found out that I have passed my degree, therefore I get to graduate at Bridge water hall in exactly 21 days...Not gonna lie...I'm pretty nervous, as knowing my and my klutz-ness, I will fall flat on my face when walking on stage. (I will report back and let you know if it actually happens). Another thing that has happened this month is that I've been working with a brand called Prairie Charms on their blogging team with a bunch of other bloggers, to celebrate the launch of their monthly subscription box, 'The Prairie Pizzazz'. My box arrived yesterday, and yes, I have seen what's inside, and I am in love with everything. I will be doing a blog post later this week on the box and brand. The final thing that has happened to me this month was that I got to see my all time favourite band 5 Seconds of Summer live at Manchester Arena. They were honestly amazing, and incredible, I'd go and see them live again in a heartbeat.

I decided I would do a top tracks of the month kind of thing, where I tell you what I've been listening to over the last month, and my thoughts on these tracks.

The first one is actually an Album. I've been kind of obsessed with listening to 5 Seconds of Summer's live album LIVESOS!. It has fast become one of my all time favourite albums, even my mum loves it. I came home from town the other day and I saw my mum dancing away to She Looks So Perfect! I can't wait for the next album.

My other top tracks of the month are PinkSlip's Take Me Away from the movie 'Freaky Friday'. I love this song because of the awesome guitar riffs and the beat. If you are into Rocky-Punk Pop music then this song is definitely worth a listen.

My final pick is Dangerous by Before you Exit. I have fast become a fan of this song, as its super upbeat, poppy, and an overall catchy song. It's constantly in my head all the time.

That's all from me for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What are your top tracks of the month? Let me know via twitter or in the comments below. I'll leave my social links for you to check out below. I'll be back soon with another post soon.

My Top 5 Drugstore and High Street Lip Products!

Hi to all you lovely readers :) I apologise for not doing a proper post in a while, but...I'M BACK!!!! Now that I've finished all my university coursework I can do some proper blog posts, which I am really excited for...this post in particular will be my top 5 drugstore and high street lip products.
I'm not going to lie....I am a lip product junkie!!! I have a draw in my current makeup storage set up that is dedicated to all my lip products, whether they be lip scrubs, lip balms, glosses, pencils, lipsticks, you name it, it has a home in that drawer. I really struggled to pick my top 5 as there are so many on the high street that I love, most of these you can pick up in either Boots or Superdrug if you live in the UK. So lets get on with the post and I hope you enjoy reading....
From Left to Right: Lush Bubblegum Lip scrub, MUA Sweet Sheen Balm in Cherry Bomb, Maybelline Baby lips in Peach Kiss, Natural Collection Sheer Natural Lipstick in Sorbet, Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick in Rebel With Cause

The first product in my list is the Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub. This stuff is literally the bomb.com. It smells amazing and it tastes sweet and sugary too. This is probably my favourite lip scrub as it gets rid of all the dry skin and makes my lips super soft. I use this a couple of times a week and is definitely worth the purchase.
The second product in my list is my new favourite tinted lip balm. This is relatively new from MUA and its the Sweet Sheen lip balm in the shade Cherry Bomb. I absolutely love this colour, and i use this most of the time in my every day makeup look. I have another one of these in the shade rouge rumba which is a tinted red which i use sometimes in the evening if I'm going out. There are other colours availabel which I'm definitely going to pick up soon.
My other daily lip product choice is the maybelline baby lips in the colour peach kiss. This is amazing, it makes my lips feel super soft and moisturised. Its a beautiful colour and I honestly really like it.
For all of you lovely ladies who like a dark berry lip, I would definitely recommend this colour to you. This is the Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick in the colour Rebel With Cause. This is a dupe for MAC's Rebel lipstick. This costs just £1, so if you are thinking about going for a dark lipstick and don't want to splurge £15.50 on MAC's Rebel, then I would definitely go for this. I think this will be my Autumn berry lip colour :)
My final pick is the Natural Collection Sheer Natural Lipstick in the shade Sorbet.. This is another pick that I sometimes wear as an everyday lip colour. Its super sheer and is a sort of 'your lips but better' colour. Its definitely worth a purchase if you are looking for an everyday lipstick.

That's all from me for this post. I really hope you enjoyed it. Please keep your eyes peeled for my new post tomorrow about Detoxifying Friendships. I'll leave my social media links below for you to check out and follow. Also I just wanted to say thankyou for the 1.5K pageviews on my blog..it really means a lot to me. I love all you little cupcakes lots.

University Series: Final Month at Uni!

Hi Lovely people!!!!
I know it has been a long time since I last blogged, but I do have a reason, and one reason only....University! This month has been quite a tough and emotional month as it is my last ever month at Mid Cheshire College. This month saw quite a few deadlines (one of which is this friday), and my exam which happened yesterday, which was my last actual day!
I think the HRM Exam went okay...basically there were two section. Section A was multiple choice and Section B was where you had to pick four out of eleven questions to answer. I personally think I've done alright.
I also handed in my tour operations and cruise case studies this week. I have to submit my research project on Friday and then my final submission which is my PAD Portfolio on the 5th of june...then I'm done till graduation at Bridgewater Hall in July.
After all my assignments are submitted I will be updating this blog hopefully every day or every two days between the 5th of June and the 21st of July. I really hope you stick with me and this blog.
That's all really for this post, I will definitely be updating soon...
Keep an eye out on my social media's which I'll link below for my next blog post

The Artisan Market and Amplify Paint the Town Red!

If you were hanging around Northwich town centre this saturday you might have noticed a couple of awesome events going on. Firstly, the Monthly Artisan Market, held o the second saturday of every month, featuring traders of artisan food, jewelry, fashion, arts and crafts, there is something for everyone. Second, the Amplify Paint the Town Red event was going on, featuring some awesome local talent. To put a little disclaimer out there: This is NOT a sponsored post, I am not affiliated with Amplify, or The Artisan Market, I just wanted to share how awesome Saturday was, also All photos and Video Footage are mine. I will leave links to relevant social media at the bottom of the post for you to check out, along with my own...

Kicking off with The Artisan Market. The market attracts loads of people to the town everytime it's on. With a little something for everyone, you'll always find something that you like. As someone who as a citizen of Northwich, always goes to the Market, and becoming acquaintances and friends with some of the traders, I found that my favourite part, is trying out the different foods available. From Pate, to Cupcakes, Chocolate, marshmallows and Sticky Toffee Pudding, there is a little something for all.

A variety of Artisan Chocolate
If there is one kind of food I love, it's chocolate. I have found a new favourite from this Trader,  Sea Salt and Caramel Chocolate...possibly the best combination...EVER!!

Seeing this stall actually reminds me of the Jewelry that my Mum used to make...brings back a lot of happy memories...

Another of my favourite things which I try every time...Sea Salt and Caramel Fudge. If you are ever hanging around the Market and you see this stand, please try this fudge...it's amazing...
Stem Ginger Butter Fudge

Red Velvet Cake and Carrot Walnut Cake

Cake Shots
I just want to give a shoutout to the traders of this stand. Stuart Thornley Cake Design do the most amazing cakes. Based in Dukinfield, Cheshire. I will leave all their social media links below!

University Series Part 6: Appraisals

Hey Everyone, this is part six of my university series. So yesterday as part of our case study for HRM (Human Resource Management), we did Task B which was a recorded Appraisal assessment. We paired up, and I was originally on my own then a week or so before my tutor asked me if I would pair up with a friend who was on her own, so I agreed. Anyway, back to yesterday, our tutor said to us that we would be in the HE Room in the library doing our assessment, and that two pairs would be in the room at the same time so the assessments got done quicker. The first pairs up were me and my partner, and my two other friends who were paired together. Myself and My partner were being filmed on our Tutors Ipad and my friends were being recorded on the video camera.
To be honest, I think it went well, I asked the questions clearly and tried to answer the questions i was asked as best as I could. There were a few giggles at some point but overall it was a fun experience even though I was nervous.
Also yesterday we were given our final deadlines for all of our assignments as well as details for our graduation, which I am quite looking forward to.

Thats all for this week, I'll be back on saturday with another post. I apologise for this being a short update, Saturdays post will be longer. I'll leave my social media links for you to follow below.

Top 5 Avon Beauty Products!!!

As all of you lovely readers of my blog know, I m a huge fan of the brand Avon, and I have been for almost five years now. So I decided that I would compile a list of my top five products from Avon that are in my collection. I will note now, that two of the products in this list are now discontinued but there are alternatives which I will list and try and link to if I can.
To put a little disclaimer out there: This is not a sponsored post, All opinions on these products are my own, I am not affiliated with Avon in anyway shape or form (though I did use to be a representative), all images are mine, and I am being 100% honest in my opinions.
Lets get started.....

Avon Ideal Flawless light Foundation with SPF 20
The first product in my list is the Ideal Flawless light foundation. I absolutely love this foundation, as it looks natural on my skin, covers any redness, and some blemishes. The only downside is that it has since been discontinued and I actually recieved this in one of the Makeup Bargain bags that they do in the sale brochure. However after doing some research, I have found two alternatives to  this foundation. The first is a BB cream which is generally an alternative to foundation, the one I have found is the Avon Ideal Flawless Skin Loving Beauty Balm and the other alternative is the Avon Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Foundation.

Colortrend Lip Stix - Just Peachy
The second product in this list is the Color Trend lip stix in the shade just peachy. I absolutely love this, and use it if I'm going out for the day and wearing makeup. There are nine colours available and its a bargain at £4.50. My other favourite shades are Reddy to go and Rose Kisses.
Nailwear Pro+ - Romance
If there is one product by Avon that I really love it is their Nailwear Pro+ polishes. They come in a vast variety of colours and last for a week without a base and top coat, and a week and a half to two weeks with the base and top coat. My favourite colours are Romance which is a beautiful shimmery pink-purple shade, and Naked Truth which is a stunning nude shade. There are other polishes on offer such as the Gel finish ones which I highly recommend, and the the Speed Dry ones which I also recommend if you want a nail polish that takes around 30-60 seconds to dry.
ColorTrend Boost It Mascara
This is one of Avon's more affordable range, Colortrend's newest offerings. I haven't been using this for long but already I really like it. The Boost It mascara offers users up to 5x more volumised lashes, no clumps, and well defined lashes. I've used this a couple of times and it really does what it says. It made my lashes look longer, there were no clumps and my lashes were definitely volumised. Its worth the purchase.
HollyWood Collection lipstick - HollyWood Siren
My final pick is this beautiful red lipstick from the HollyWood Collection. Sadly it has been discontinued but there are alternatives such as the Extra lasting lipstick in Fiery Red, and the Ultra Colour Bold lipstick in Ruby Shock. I will use this lipstick if I want a classic look when I'm going out somewhere. I'll usually pair it with a cat eye flick and mascara.

That's it for this post, I will be back on Thursday with Part 6 to my University series. I'll leave my social media links below for you to check out and possibly follow :)
